View Article  "Finger Trouble" - Accidentally deleting all emails in my inbox whilst working "externally" - Gone like a scone!!! Ouch

Well, today, I was working through my emails as I hadn't checked my inbox for four weeks at best - scandalous and so unlike me - ahem!  (970 of them and mostly spam) when i thought that I had selected one lot of emails from a group I am a member of and I thought I was deleting only that group's emails to me (all in the hope of decluttering and trying to get through it as painlessly as possible!)

Well folks, I deleted all 770 remaining emails in my inbox!!!

Never to be seen again! I will never know what gems were in there and I
felt as sick as a parrot when I realised what I'd done! You see, I was
logged in using an external mail server (mail2web) so those emails didn't go into my outlook inbox as I was using someone elses computer to check it all out!

After much cursing and flailing of arms ,not to mention floods of tears, which I can assure you was not a pretty sight!  I went outside to get some fresh air and then - suddenly, I had a realisation!

My sight is great, I have my hands and fingers intactum and my legs and feet can work just fine - my heart! Well, I know that works because I feel such pain and elation in this great relationship I'm in with Mike, I am truly blessed!
I had to take a step back and think about all the good stuff and it was then that I figured that those 770 emails were gone forever but I am here both in spirit, creatively and physically and I feel good!!!!

So what, I deleted all my emails and I guess I'll have to send out a message to
everyone in my contacts list asking them if they did send me an email in
the past 5 weeks - well - to send it on again or to just say hi! It was a
case of "finger trouble"! Who knows?! It should make a few people laugh at my
stupidity. My brain said "hang on" but my finger went ahead and pushed the
button anyway! Yeehaw!

My best friend, Alex, had this to say, "I guess that really puts a new spin on "working through" one's emails in an efficient and fast manner - delete them all without reading them!" - Yes!  I have to laugh at the absurdity of it all but most of all I'm laughing about not actually checking my emails for more than four weeks!  That's the scandalous bit....

Take care all.  Have a great day.

View Article  The £45,000 bedspread!!! Lester Couture Photoshoot "prop"

Last week, headed up to Abergavenny in Wales for a photoshoot.  A mammoth photoshoot which lasted all of seven days!  Great experience though and hundreds of photos taken (now it's a job to wade through them all to find the FOUR we need!).

Whilst Steve Peake was happily photographing away, Charles Lester was indulging his passion of "art photography" - basically: two photographers, each with their own remit, one "model" in Lester Couture!

One of the "scenes" was a spare room in the Lester Home (a beautiful rambling Edwardian home on an estate outside of Abergavenny in Wales) and on the bed was a gold bedspread - I was duly informed that this bedspread took five people just over five months to make and it retails for - wait for it - £45,000.  You'll understand why when you see it and if you own one, then do let me know as I'm now intrigued as to what it must  be like to have a bedspread that costs £45K!

The Lesters are incredibly talented international couturiers and the clothes are just out of this world.  I'm a "big girl" and yet, in their couture, I feel and look like a supermodel.  There is no other way to describe this incredible clothing and the interior furnishings they create are so opulent and sumptuous - I felt like I was in a movie!

I'll start by putting up a few of the rough (non-edited) photos but will ultimately replace them on here with the final four photos we do choose.

These images will be sent to Vogue, Queerplanet and Mavista Images Magazine.  So, hold thumbs and cross toes I do choose the "right" ones.

Charles Lester has already posted one of the images he took on:  www.world-of-opera.co.uk

Have an amazing day all.

Big Hugs and  Blue Skies.
